Advice note - Changes to the Mental Health Act

The Mental Welfare Commission has drawn up a list of changes that were made to the Mental Health Act and came into force on 30 June 2017.
This information has been circulated directly to psychiatrists, mental health officers and medical records departments.
It is also contained in an advice note that is now available on the Commission's website.
